Moxee City, WA, Rural Carrier Tina Liniger was delivering mail recently when she spotted a little girl wandering down a roadside ditch.
Liniger knew where the 3-year-old child lived and took her home. The girl’s mother was not aware her daughter had wandered off and was grateful for Liniger’s help.
Later that day, Liniger noticed a small puppy in a field. The dog, named Spike, appeared to be very hungry.
Liniger found Spike’s owner and took the dog home.
