A New Jersey motorist who recently suffered a seizure at an intersection praised a helpful Postal Service employee as “my guardian angel transformed into a human.”
Rural Carrier Tammy Ventura and another passerby who saw the woman in distress were able to access her vehicle and turn off the ignition.
After 911 was called, emergency responders took the seizure victim to a hospital.
She later sent a letter of thanks to Ventura.
“Your quick reaction to assist me shows what a truly compassionate and caring person you are, and my gratitude to you is overwhelming,” the woman wrote.
