Miranda Suzanne Mathis Fry, born on August 30, 1985, in Conroe, TX, left this world on April 23, 2024. Miranda was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose presence touched the lives of many.

Miranda was a devoted employee of the United States Postal Service, where she served diligently. However, her true passion lay in spending time with her cherished family, traveling to new places, and enjoying the peaceful moments of fishing with her loved ones. Miranda’s kind and compassionate nature, along with her positive outlook on life, made her an extraordinary individual who valued her family above all else.

In a loving marriage of 17 years, Miranda shared her life with her beloved husband, Dane Fry. Together, they created a beautiful family filled with love and laughter. Miranda is survived by her husband Dane Fry, and their children Londyn, Brintlee, Paris, Oliver, Gage, Harley, Tayler, and Morgan Fry, who were the light of her life.

Miranda is the daughter of Angela and Shawn Overturff and  Mark and Brenda Mathis. She is also survived by her siblings Ethan Hearn, Travis Hearn, Andrew Hearn, Christian Hearn, Megan Escobar, Brittany Donald, Emily Overturff, Torin Overturff, Kalen Overturff, Sarah Overturff, Joseph Pounders, and Chris Pounders.

Miranda was preceded in death by her Grandparents Bill and Billye Mathis, Dad Terrell Hearn, Aunt Penny Hearn, Mother and Father-in-law Debra and Anthony Goodney, and Brother-in-law Clay Goodney.

Miranda’s life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Riverside Baptist Church, FM 980, Riverside, Texas, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember her. A graveside service will follow at Copeland Chapel Cemetery, Montgomery, Texas.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to all those who have generously donated their time, money, or resources to support them during this difficult time. Your kindness is deeply appreciated.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family through Mayor Heidi Tutor at Riverside City Hall. Miranda’s legacy of love, kindness, and strength will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace knowing she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
