NRLCA and USPS Sign MOU Creating a Temporary Extension on Grievance and Arbitration Appeals

Due to the impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic, President Stutts and the USPS have signed an MOU extending time limits for grievance appeals directly to Step 3; from Step 3 to Step 4; from Step 3 to area arbitration; and from Step 4 to national arbitration for a period of thirty (30) days beyond those specified in the National Agreement.

The parties will revisit this issue immediately prior to the expiration of this MOU to determine if an extension is appropriate.
