Mail carrier (RCA) injured when mail truck crashes into vehicle in Washington County

Two people, including a mail carrier, were injured when a mail truck and an SUV collided in Washington County Monday, emergency officials said.

Samantha Mueller, 30, of Canonsburg told police she was driving her mail truck along the shoulder of the 1800 block of Route 980 in Cecil around 1:20 p.m. when she started to pull out onto the road, Cecil police Lt. Rich Egizio said.

At the same time, according to Lt. Egizio, Walter Keller III, 46, of Bridgeville was driving his SUV on the same side of the road and struck the mail truck as it was pulling out.
